More Seattle Home Theater System Installation Reviews

For the third time, George Pro of “Pro Sound and Vision,” came from Seattle to my home in suburban Philadelphia to further enhance my high-performance audio-visual system.  On this occasion he installed aesthetic and marvelously designed shelving (“The Parallel” by Volkmar Druebbisch of pARTicular) to house all my components, introduced Richard Gray’s Power Station (which does, to my ears, improve the sound of even an already high-end audio system), a large plasma screen and a blu-ray player. Finally, he programmed all my components into Universal Remote’s “Genesis” MX-900.  Installing and coordinating all these elements such that they worked with seamless simplicity was a highly challenging assignment that George met with his customary aplomb.

As on previous occasions, George’s service was superb.  If I had questions, he patiently answered them.  If I had suggestions, he listened and worked creatively with me to find the most satisfactory solution to a  given problem. He was a model teacher in familiarizing me with new operating procedures, always assuring himself that I could use them competently before he left.  Moreover, he was considerate in introducing minimal “creative chaos” that is  part of any installation, leaving my home in the condition in which he found it.

In sum, I find that Pro Sound and Vision sets a gold standard of custom service, characterized by knowledge, skill, pride in craft, and integrity.  In future amendments to my audio/visual system, I plan unhesitatingly to call upon George Pro.

We are very happy that we selected Pro Sound and Vision to install our new large flat panel TV and  surround sound system.  George Pro did a great job.  He explained the equipment options very thoroughly, and we set up budget which he met conscientiously.   True to his name, George is very professional.  He solved all the technical questions efficiently and in a manner that satisfied our requests, and we appreciated he fact that he showed up on time and was very considerate of us when working in the house.  I would recommend Pro Sound and Vision to anyone wanting a first-class A/V system.

To tell you the truth, I was a little nervous about buying such a large system because of the potential problems that might come up with it. I would highly recommend Pro Sound and Vision for any size home theater project.  George provided friendly professional advice and personalized service that is rarely found these days.  I ended up with a beautifully installed system that sounds an order of magnitude better than a system I had in a former house for roughly the same cost.  The entire process was fast, efficient, personalized and within budget.  Any questions or problems and George will immediately troubleshoot them for you.  In the words of my kids:

Daughter:  “Wow, that’s really cool!”

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for installing my 51” plasma HDTV this past week.   You came up with the appropriate wall mount and quickly performed the installation with the ease of the professional that you are.   But what was especially pleasing was the free trouble shooting that you performed on my existing home theater system (no I’m not ready to replace it yet).  Even though I had not purchased the home theater system from you, you spent the time necessary to determine why I wasn’t hearing sound out of two of the speakers. You do go the extra mile for your customers.

I first became interested in Pro Sound and Vision when I received a postcard introducing the company and its personalized service.  Having gone the route with Magnolia HiFi and stores like the Good Guys, I did not want to drop a lot of money on someone just trying to hustle product.  I quickly learned that George Pro was a true audiophile and someone who cared first about quality and a lot about service. I am writing again regarding the excellent continuing services of Mr. George H. Pro as audio consultant, expanding upon my remarks about Mr. Pro in my letter of January, 2002.

I noted in that letter my purchase through Mr. Pro of a complete electrostatic system for music reproduction in August, 2001. In the intervening time since the installation of this system, Mr. Pro (at my request) has kept me informed of new innovations in the high-end audio field, notably multi-channel and Pro Logic II ambient technologies. He provided me extensive opportunity at his home audio studio to experience and understand why these technologies offer the music lover distinct advances toward replicating concert hall sound in the home. Mr. Pro recently upgraded my system by installing 2 electrostatic speakers and an amplifier, as well as providing components for multi-channel and ambient sound. Mr. Pro provided me invaluable help in selecting these components at the best price. He ordered the units and made all the shipping arrangements. Once the new components arrived at my home, Mr. Pro thoroughly checked out all functions of my enhanced system, even programming the remote controls and patiently familiarizing me with their use. Moreover, with his extensive knowledge of and experience with audio cabinetry, Mr. Pro was most helpful in advising me on how I might “house” my components for maximum audio as well as cosmetic, effects.
To summarize, Mr. Pro’s first installation brought me the distinctive sonic marvels of electrostatic speakers, which I specified in my previous letter. The second installation incorporated into my system the subtle magical effects of additional “roundness” of tone, openness of complex musical textures, and depth of sound stage that ambient technologies, properly installed, provide.

Listening to music via electrostatic speakers in combination with ambient surround sound technology, is thrillingly beautiful beyond anything I had previously heard outside the concert hall. In helping me reach this new pinnacle of enjoying music in the home, Mr. Pro once again has proven exemplary in providing every assistance a customer might require. I recommend Mr. Pro’s services without qualification.
